Nestled on the second floor in the Marshall Building, this creative space hosts monthly ceramic hand-building workshops, offers a unique setting for private events and serves as a gallery showcasing Kat’s signature ceramics and prints. I'm Kat - an artist and educator originally from Berlin, Connecticut, now calling Milwaukee, Wisconsin home. As a certified k-12 art teacher, I’ve had the privilege of teaching Studio Art, Sculpture, and Design in the public school setting, but this new chapter is something special. I've wholeheartedly combined my love for art, education, and community into a dream, a space to create, collaborate, and bring people together through creative workshops and events. Whether I’m making my own work, teaching others, or fostering connections through art, I am so grateful to share this journey with you! - Kat

HOW IT WORKS
The Clay Experience at KHS
Clay hand-building workshops are a one-time creative session where you’ll design, sculpt, and paint your piece with underglaze — all in a single visit (great for out of town visitors and team-building events!). After your visit, Kat will take care of the finishing touches, including firing and glazing. You'll receive an email in 2–3 weeks when your piece is ready for pickup or shipping.
