Paint chips are my outlet to explore. I search my communities for fascinating palette discards, envisioning their potential and associating the new object with a person or story.
Reframing these seemingly known objects allows me to question the interaction between artwork and the viewer; how a particular piece can hold an emotion, transmit an experience, or allude to certain interpretations. Through this series of work, I encourage exploration, provoke new conversation and suggests that there is value in the overlooked. |
